Eureka! Miles Edgeworth: Ace Attorney Investigations announced for US (kinda) and EU
Apr 28th
It was announced today that, expectedly, Gyakuten Kenji will see an American and European release before the end of the year. All I really wanted to post was the trailer, so for your viewing goodness:
Enjoy!
(I will say, though, that “Eureka!” sounds pretty bad.
)
Quick update: It should be noted that only the European release was officially announced, but by all means I would be surprised (and outright pissed off) if this didn’t include a US release. Such a release can be expected anywhere between a couple of months before to a couple of months after the European release.
You can also find actual ENGLISH screenshots on Capcom Unity.
Random rambling: The DSi, my growing collection, and… Kristoph Gavin is a pedobear?
Apr 27th
This will likely end up being a random post pertaining mainly to video games and what I’ve been doing in the past while while also bringing up a couple of other things.
First off, the blog; I’m still kind of on-and-off as far as updating goes. Unlike my days doing Chronicles of a Bowman I’ve never really been engaged in one single thing in order to be updating it as recent as I have over there. Along the way came some RSS difficulties in which a backend functionality plugin managed to cripple the feed with unnecessary whitespace (which has now been fixed) and integrating comments with IntenseDebate, which so far has been nice but there hasn’t really been anything as far as comments go. I am planning on writing a review on Rhythm Heaven soon, which I must say I’ve thuroughly enjoyed from start to finish.
And now, onto some random crap. NOTE THAT THERE MAY BE SPOILERS PAST HERE
Ten games I should really finish
Apr 10th
If you look at my Backloggery, you’ll probably notice a really really bad habit of mine.
There’s only a handful or so games that I actually do finish; Midway through one game, I find myself jumping to another newly acquired game. It’s been something that’s been happening since the days of the GBA for me. Games for me come and go way too quickly and I find myself changing games faster than some of my friends change girlfriends. (I seriously wish I was joking about that… Fortunately those people don’t visit my blog… yet.)
So, let’s very quickly go over 10 games that I haven’t beat and should go back and finish.
Hands-On with the Nintendo DSi
Apr 8th

As if we didn’t need another interation of the Nintendo DS already, the DSi, which launched in Japan late last year, arrived in the rest of the world over the past weekend. The system, which looks to be the “Game Boy Color” of the original DS, has a few subtle improvements and additions from ths DS and the DSLite, from its larger screens to its two cameras. At a time where Nintendo would usually be long overdue for a new handheld, they’ve decided to add new innovations to their current one and leave the door open for titles exclusively for this enhancement.
I actually wasn’t looking to pick a DSi up this close to launch. It just so turned out that it wasn’t going to pull a Wii and sell out for the next year and a half on launch day and that I had the funds available for it without causing too much harship. Carpe diem? I guess.
